Connecting a copeland Direct on line only compressors EWL.

Important Notes:

Please read before Starting this compressor Copeland Direct on Line Only Compressors E W L Copeland E W L compressors may be connected for direct on line start only. To achieve this the motor is permanently connected in ‘Star’ by linking three terminal pins. The power leads are then connected to the other three pins. DO NOT CONNECT THIS MACHINE IN ANY OTHER FORMAT OR MOTOR DAMAGE WILL RESULT.

Contactor & Fuse Condition Have you checked your contactors and fuses ? ‘Volts only’ checks of contactors & fuses are very unreliable without normal running current passing through ALWAYS VISUALLY INSPECT THE CONTACT FACES If only 1 or 2 supply fuses have failed then the 3rd will be damaged ALWAYS RENEW FUSES AS A SET OF 3. & finally have you diagnosed & eliminated the root cause of failure ?
